Tired of Mainstream Web Browsers? Try All-New Vivaldi

After more than a year long public development, the first official build of Vivaldi browser has just been released. Vivaldi is developed by Vivaldi Technologies, a company founded by Opera Software co-founder Jon Stephenson von Tetzchner and Tatsuki Tomita.

Vivaldi offers a number of new features mainstream browsers don’t have today. Rather than targeting the mass market with just another simple-to-use browser, Vivaldi is aimed towards heavy Internet users who live and work on the Web. Of course anyone can use it though.

I can’t (and don’t want to) really explain exactly how Vivaldi differs or is better than other mainstream browsers. What it has to offer depends on users and how they get the best out of it. If you want to learn what Vivaldi has to offer to you, go ahead and download it and give it a try. Vivaldi will amaze you, that’s what I can tell you for sure.

Vivaldi should adapt to you. It shouldn’t feel like a browser for everyone. Because it isn’t. It’s for you.

Vivaldi 1.0 browser is available free for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux operating systems. If you -like many, are fed up of present browsers, Vivaldi will provide you with a fresh experience. Some of its features are aimed towards improving productivity and power-users will absolutely love them.

Vivaldi is based on Chromium (Blink Web engine), which means most Chrome extensions should work out of the box without any issues. Vivaldi also offers many UI customization features, which users will love.

Vivaldi: Google Chrome Replacement?

It will be hard to confirm or deny this but you should try-out Vivaldi yourself and decide whether it can replace resource-hungry beast named Google Chrome.

At this moment, Vivaldi doesn’t offer synchronization of bookmarks, history, passwords and settings across different devices, but the feature will soon be introduced in future builds.

Download Vivaldi for Windows, Mac and Linux and try for your self.
